Battle of Best badminton set Saturday

EXPECT  intense action at the Raquetzone courts in Banilad Cebu City this Saturday as badminton players from Cebu City try to outplay entries from Tagbilaran, Tacloban, Ormoc, Maasin, Negros Occidental, Iligan and Cagayan de Oro in the First Triple “B” Cup: Battle of the Best in Badminton.

The tournament will feature men’s, women’s and mixed doubles competitions with levels C, D, E and F. There will also be a men’s executive class with levels D and E.

Lyric Roma of Lyka Production and Tournament Services is confident that the event will surpass the success of the previous tournament they organized last April 13.

Roma said over P100,000 worth of  cash and raffle prizes such as Yonex bags, rackets and strings, Li Ning shoes and shuttlecocks are up for grabs. /Correspondent Mark Tongco
