P280T lost in Mandaue burglary

CLOSE to P300,000 was taken when unidentified burglars ransacked a junk shop in barangay Casuntingan, Mandaue City, last Wednesday night.

Police said the burglars entered the shop by destroying the door at the back of the shop that was used as a kitchen.

According to the police, Analie Matedias, one of the workers of the E&J Junkshop, went to the shop at 10 p.m. when she saw that the light inside was open.

Matedias tried to open the door but failed.

The woman went to a nearby warehouse and called her co-worker, a certain Roland, who helped her open the door.

The lights were already turned off when the two workers returned to the shop.

The two workers later found the things inside in disarray.
