Silliman grad named one of Ten Outstanding Students of PH

A FRESH graduate from Silliman University in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental made it to the list of Top 10 Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP).

Jonathan Andro P. Tan received a TOSP award with nine other outstanding youths from universities around the country last Aug. 4 in Malacañang Palace.

Tan graduated magna cum laude with a degree of bachelor of science in physics this year.

In February 2011, he was awarded the Most Oustanding Student of the Year by his alma mater in recognition of his involvements in the university’s student government and organizations such as the Corps of Campus Ambassadors, said Mark Garcia, SU information and publications director.
