Dash for A Scholar Run fires off today at Parkmall grounds

AROUND a thousand runners will converge at the grounds of Parkmall in Mandaue City for the Dash for A Scholar: A Benefit Fun Run at 5 a.m.

The running event is organized by the Lyceum de Sebastian Inc. of Compostela town, northern Cebu, which aims to raise funds for the scholarship program of Lyceum de Sebastian Inc. and the Don Bosco Boys Home, Formation Center, and Youth Center.

Highlighting the run will be the presence of celebrity Derek Ramsay, who will lead the oath of sportsmanship and awarding ceremonies.

The running event will have 3-kilometer, 6k and 12k distances. Champions will receive cash prizes.

FEATURED STORIES

The race route will pass through Plaridel St., Burgos St. and UN Avenue all the way to the Cansaga Bridge and back to Parkmall.
