USC hopes to stay alive

/ 07:48 AM April 25, 2013

THE volleybelles of the University of San Carlos fight to keep their campaign alive today as they take on Perpetual Help in Group B in the Shakey’s V-League Season 10 First Conference at the Arena in San Juan City.

Much is at stake in today’s game with a quarterfinal berth on the line for both squads. The two teams head into this match without a win to their name. Also aiming to make it to the next round is Letran which battles the University of Santo Tomas in Group A.

With a 0-2 card, Perpetual actually still has a chance even if it bows to USC with one more game left against Adamson. But the Lady Altas will surely be going all-out for the win today to avoid facing a tougher, more experienced opponent Sunday. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
