Caloocan City fire put out; no casualty reported

MANILA, Philippines—The fire that gutted a residential block in Caloocan City Monday afternoon has been put out, a Bureau of Fire Protection-National Capital Region officer said.

Fire Officer 3 Owen Ferrera said the fire along Lapu-Lapu Street in Barangay (village) 78 near the Monumento Circle in Caloocan City started at 4:34 p.m.

The blaze reached second alarm before it was put out at 5:10 p.m.

No one was reported wounded as of posting.
