Singwangcha, Llanos make weight, fight on tonight in Sibonga town
MARCO Singwangcha of the RWS Gym of Cebu weighed in at 116.5lb while his opponent Nelson Llanos of Butuan City stepped in at 115.75lb during yesterday’s official weigh-in at the Rex “Wakee” Salud Gym in Labangon, Cebu City.
The two protagonists will fight today at the Sibonga Sports Complex in southern Cebu for the Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) bantamweight crown.
Singwangcha, who started his career as Marco Demecillo, is unbeaten with a record of 12 wins with nine knockouts and one draw. He is being eyed by Promoter Rex “Wakee” Salud for a fight in Las Vegas this November if he continues his winning streak.
Marco fights with the surname Singwangcha to honor his sponsor, Thai boxing promoter Naris Singwangcha who is co-promoting this card.
Seeing action in the undercards are TI Yamagata Sentillas vs. Noel “Dinamita” Adelmita who both weighed 112lb; Marlon Sandoval Singwangcha (106lb) vs. Marlo Talili (106.5lb); Lobert Bayo (114.25lb) vs. Erwin Pulvera who initially weighed 118.25lb but eventually came in at 116.5lb and after an hour of sweating to lose the excess poundage.
Also featured are Honey Boy Vidad (130lb) vs. Sesustener Llanera (129lb) and Jayson Redondo Singwangcha (126lb) vs. Junel Busano (124.5lb).

The boxing promotion is held with the cooperation of the local government of Sibonga led by Mayor Lionel Bacaltos and Vice Mayor Rey Apuda. Ring action starts at 7 p.m.
