AN 80-YEAR-OLD caretaker of a car shop in Cebu City allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself in the mouth shortly before noon Friday.

Police said the victim Cipriano delos Santos Samson had been suffering from various ailments which may have drove him to kill himself.

Police said Samson shot himself using a .38 revolver owned by Pedro Abella, security guard of Car Doc Display Center.

Police said Abella only reports for work at night and leaves his gun in his locker at daytime.

Police said there were witnesses who saw Samson take the gun before he was found bloodied.

Samson was declared dead at the Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC) due to gunshot wound on his mouth and exited to his head.
