No help coming from Seoul
“I WAS stunned”.
This was the reaction of lawyer Augusto Go, honorary consul in Cebu of the Republic of Korea, when he learned about the arrest of five Koreans in connection with car theft cases.
Go said he was alarmed by this incident.
“I never expected that the Koreans would do such a thing… carnapping and they must be very ignorant because Cebu is carnapping-free. So I was stunned with the news”, Go said.
“This is a blackeye for the Korean community.”
Go congratulated the police for their speedy action in the case.

“They should be dealt with the full force of the law, there will be no special treatment. My job as honorary consul is to see to it that they are not harmed. The Korean government will not help in any criminal cases. They will get their own lawyer”, Go said./Jhunnex Napallacan Correspondent
