MANILA, Philippines—The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Wednesday failed to submit to Justice Secretary Leila De Lima the much-awaited report on the Jan. 6 shooting in Atimonan, Quezon, that left 13 members of an alleged criminal group dead.

De Lima said minor glitches in the printing and binding of the report forced the NBI to seek a one-day extension.

“The NBI sought a one-day extension although I told them it has to be in the morning tomorrow (Thursday). There had been some last minute glitches in binding because of the voluminous annexes,” De Lima said.
