USC 16-U team wins in Cebu Elite hoop
THE UNIVERSITY of San Carlos took full advantage of their home court to defeat the University of Southern Philippines Foundation, 49-21, in the 16-under division of the Cebu Elite Basketball League last Saturday at the USC North campus along Mango Avenue.
The two teams of Thumbs Up, though, suffered contrasting fates as Thumbs Up 1 emerged victorious over the San Isidro Parish School, 65-44, while Thumbs Up 2 were beaten by the Immaculate Heart of Mary Academy, 55-39.
