Batch ‘99, Class ‘96 rout rivals in Cecaba caging
JEPOY ’99 and The First Family Appliance Circle ’96 emerged victorious over separate opponents during the Cebu Eastern College Alumni Basketball Association’s 12th Dr. Chen Lieh Fu Memorial Cup last Friday night at the CEC gym.
Class ’99 did not waste time in destroying Dewfoam ’88, 57-39, while Class ’96 downed JV Shop n Shop ’97, 51-45.
Mark Bukiron showed off his skills to the tune of 30 points, 11 boards, three assists, three steals and three blocks for Class ‘99 while Ernest Tanting paced Class ’88 with 12 points followed by Rey Kennth Ng with 10 markers.
Class ’96, on the other hand, relied on its balanced offensive attack to repulse Class ’97 with Dreyfuss Ang scoring nine points that went along with four rebounds, seven assists and six steals. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
