Seno bags boys U-14 title in 2nd leg of Philta tennis

ONE of Cebu’s top netters Jan Godfrey Seno started the year right by clinching the Boys Under 14 title in the second leg of the Philta-Palawan Pawnshop Regional Age-Group Tennis Tournament at the La Paz Tennis Club in Iloilo City.

Seno overcame Emmanuel Fuellas, 6-4, 6-1, in the final.

Seno of the University of San Carlos advanced to the final round with straight sets blanking of Edmark Casiple in the semis. He also teamed up with Luke Flores for the Under 14 doubles title.

The Cebuano netter is currently ranked No.4 by the Philippine Tennis Association (Philta) in the Boys Under 14.  /CORRESPONDENT MARS G. ALISON
