/ 10:39 PM January 07, 2013

Two men were killed while another was wounded after two armed men strafed a stall at a Quezon City market on Sunday night. Rolando Talento, 51, and Joel Tabor, 27, died at separate hospitals following the shooting at the Commonwealth Market. A third victim, Arnel Celestino, 46, is still being treated for a gunshot wound in the face.

According to case investigator Senior Police Officer 1 Cristituto Zaldarriaga, all three men worked at the market: Talento as market master, Celestino as a security officer while Tabor was a fish vendor. The police are still investigating if the incident is related to their work at the market.

The shooting happened at 7:50 p.m. at Boy and Nita’s Burger Stand where the three men were eating. Two gunmen wearing black jackets and jeans suddenly approached them and shot the victims before they escaped.
