Man kills woman in QC in a fit of drunken rage
A 35-year-old woman’s attempt to reconcile with her live-in partner cost her her
life after she bumped into a drunken neighbor who got irked and stabbed her.
Florendeliza dela Cruz, a resident of Area 5 Pinagbuklod in Barangay (village) Bagong Silangan, Quezon City, was declared dead on arrival by attending doctors at General Malvar Hospital due to two stab wounds in the chest.
Her alleged attacker and neighbor, Boboy dela Peña, fled afterward. He is now being sought by the police.
SPO1 Pascual Fabreag of the Quezon City Police District’s Criminal Investigation and
Detection Unit said the stabbing happened around 8 p.m. on Saturday near Dela Cruz’s home.

The case investigator added that an apparently remorseful Dela Cruz ran after Anthony but in the process, she bumped into her drunken neighbor.
This irked Dela Peña who took out a fan knife and attacked the woman, stabbing her twice in the chest before fleeing.
A neighbor took Dela Cruz to the nearest hospital for treatment but the effort to save her proved futile.
