Arms cache seized

LEGAZPI CITY—Soldiers and policemen seized what officials said was an arms cache consisting of 13 guns, bullets and explosives in a remote village in Masbate City.

Maj. Angelo Guzman, spokesperson of the 9th Infantry Division, told reporters in this city that members of Task Force Masbate found the cache in the basement of a house in the village of Igang.

The seized weapons and explosives include Armalite rifles, .45 cal. pistol, .38 cal. handguns, shotguns, antitank land mines, claymore mines, Molotov bombs, bullets and materials for making bombs. Mar S. Arguelles, Inquirer Southern Luzon
