MANILA, Philippines — Liberal Party members on Tuesday were advised by its leadership to place their support for the Reproductive Health bill, which is set to be voted on this week.

The LP said this in a statement sent to reporters after the meeting at the party’s national headquarters led by Interior Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas II and Budget Secretary Florencio “Butch” Abad.

Sources have earlier confirmed that the RH bill was part of the meeting’s agenda, adding that majority of those in attendance were in support of the proposed measure.
