More cancelled flights due to Typhoon ‘Pablo’

MANILA, Philippines—More than a hundred domestic flights have been scrapped as Typhoon “Pablo” (international name Bopha) tore across the regions of Visayas and Mindanao.

The additional cancelled flights included Zamboanga-Cagayan de Oro, Cebu-Davao, Cebu-Ozamiz and Manila-Tagbilaran by Cebu Pacific Air, adding to the 86 flights grounded Monday night.

The Philippine Airlines and Airphil Express also cancelled its flights to Visayas and Mindanao.

The airlines have expressed to re-accommodate the passengers of the affected flights.

Pablo is seen to be the strongest storm to enter the Philippine territory for 2012.
