Habal-habal driver shot dead

A HABAL-HABAL driver was shot dead by his neighbor in barangay Guinacot, Danao City, northern Cebu.

Police said the victim Rhobenson Pinay, 26, and his alleged assailant Rolando Hermosilla argued before the fatal shooting past 8 p.m. last Tuesday.

Police said Pinay was waiting for passengers along a road when the suspect arrived and shot him several times in the body.

The suspect fled after the attack. Pinay was rushed to a hospital but was declared dead.

MAN HURT IN TALISAY SHOOTING

A MAN was wounded after he was shot by a motorcycle-riding assailant in barangay Tabunok, Talisay City, southern Cebu.

Doniel Obiso, 29, a resident of sitio Mananga I, barangay Tabunok, Talisay, was walking along a road when he was attacked Wednesday night.

Obisosustained gunshot wounds in the different parts of the body. He was rushed to the Talisay City District Hospital then moved to the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center in Cebu City.

SPO1 Mikie Espina of the Talisay City police said the victim was previously convicted for concealing of deadly weapon. He was also tagged as a suspect in several robberies and theft in Talisay.
