Mandaue drug buy-busts net 6

SIX persons, including two minors, were arrested in separate drug buy-bust operations in Mandaue City.

Benedicto Manatad, 54; Apolonio Suico, 53; and Rene Manatad, 23, allegedly sold two packs of suspected shabu worth P5,000 to a poseur-buyer past 3 p.m. last Monday in barangay Labogon.

Seven sachets of suspected shabu and P2,000 cash were seized from the three men.

A separate buy-bust operation was done the next day in barangay Ibabao-Estancia where two minors were arrested.

Alicio Bisañes, 19, was also arrested after he was caught buying marijuana from the two minors.

Recovered from their possession were 35 sticks of marijuana and P20 used as buy-bust money./CORRESPONDENT JUCELL MARIE P. CUYOS
