Girl stabbed by teen she called ‘prostitute’

A 17-YEAR-OLD girl was stabbed by a teenaged girl following an argument in barangay Suba, Cebu City.

The victim was wounded in the neck and left arm, said SPO4 Alex Dacua of the Cebu City police.

He said the two girls argued early morning yesterday after the victim allegedly called the other girl a prostitute.

After the argument, the victim went with her friends for a drinking session in Garfield Magsaysay Street.

While they drank, the girl accused of being a prostitute arrived and stabbed the 17-year-old victim.

Barangay tanods arrested the young offender and brought her to the police. The victim was taken to a hospital.

Chief Insp. Sarah Jean Recla, chief of the homicide section, said they will coordinate with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for the offender’s turnover to their office. /CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
