Advent recollection set

The Catholic church celebrates three events in the life of Jesus Christ, which pertains to the mystery of His Incarnation – the Season of Advent, Christmastide and After Epiphany.

Advent season is a time of preparation for the birth of the Child Jesus.

In preparation for Christmas, Mother Superior Sister Mary Carmel and the Pink Sisters of the Adoration Convent of Peace through the Adorers’ League enjoin all the faithful to an annual tradition, the Advent Recollection on Nov. 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. at the Adoration Convent of Peace Chapel along A.S. Fortuna, Mandaue City.  The speaker is Fr. Jerome Cayetano, SVD.

The Adorers League is a religious group of men and women who have voluntarily bonded together and share the devotion for the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
