KENYAN Moses Bett bounced back from a forgettable run in Negros Occidental by ruling the 21-kilometer  race of yesterday’s Red Cross Humanity Run 2012 at the Hoops Dome in Lapu-Lapu City.

Bett competed in the 42-kilometer, high altitude run of the Mount Patag Eco-Adventure Endurance Challenge in Silay City recently but failed to finish as he surrendered just a few kilometers away from the finish line.

But in yesterday’s fund-raising run of the Philippine National Red Cross Lapu-Lapu Cordova Chapter, Bett made sure he would come out on top.

Running as the only Kenyan in the race after his compatriots competed in the Insurers Green Run (see separate story), Bett was simply unchallenged as he cruised to the finish line in 1:17.00 to win the  21k crown. Karla Cosep dominated the female side with a time of 1:52.55.
