2 teens killed, 3 hurt in Bogo road accident

TWO teenage boys were killed while three others were wounded when their motorcycles collided in barangay Nylon, Bogo City, northern Cebu past midnight on Nov. 1.

Police identified the fatalities as Ernesto Alburo, 15, and Raplh Vincent Gilig, 16. Alburo drove the motorcycle with Gilig as backrider. The two fatalities were residents of Nylon.

Injured were the driver of the other motorcycle Darwin Duhaylungsod of Bogo and his backriders Joey Baulunan and a certain Ariel of Palompon, Leyte.

Both drivers had no licenses. Alburo was too young to have a driver’s license.

The collision occurred when Duhaylungsod’s motorcycle encroached the lane of the motorcycle driven by Alburo. The wounded motorists were brought to the Bogo Medical Hospital but Alburo and Gilig did not make it alive.
