CIT-U team secures lead in Medellin Bowling Cup

Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA) president Gretchen Tormis and the rest of the Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U) lead after the first four games in the teams event of the ongoing Medellin Bowling Cup at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.

Tormis teamed up with an all-female bowling team composed of CETBA’s finest lady keglers in Baby Bacon, Salve Tesio and Makoto Osada. They finished the first four games with a total of 2,888 pinfalls.

Running second is the Golden Field Hardware of Boy Kua, Alex Lagcao, Romel Medallo and Roger Asumbrado with 2,845 pinfalls.

Rounding off the top three teams in the first four rounds is Rich Catsup of Nestor Longcanaya, Omar Marsangca, Alex Damole and Jake Yap, who have 2,809 pinfalls.

The last part of the teams event is still being played as of this writing. The much-awaited top 28 masters event will start today.  /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
