‘Restore Guadalupe sidewalks’

CEBU City Mayor Michael Rama wanted to tap the assistance of a former colleague in the city council to restore sidewalks in barangay Guadalupe.

Rama said he has long discussed his plan with former councilor and former Guadalupe barangay captain Eugenio Faelnar who has expressed willingness to support his endeavor.

“I wanted to make this a private-public partnership like what we are doing to restore the sidewalks of Osmeña Boulevard,” he said.

Rama said it has long been his dream to restore the sidewalks of barangay Guadalupe, which is the city’s biggest barangay and home to many commercial establishments. Chief of Reporters Doris C. Bongcac
