Foul smell leads cops to dead fashion designer

Barangay officials discovered on Monday night the decomposing body of a fashion designer who had been stabbed to death in his home in Pandacan, Manila.

Napoleon Geronimo, 61, was found because of the foul smell coming from his apartment on West Zamora Street.

His relatives told the police that they last saw him on Friday.

A bent kitchen knife was found at the scene which the police believe was the murder weapon.

Robbery was being considered the motive for the killing and the police said the perpetrator probably knew the victim because there were no signs of forced entry.  Erika Sauler
