Ramgen’s girlfriend to take witness stand

Almost a year after her boyfriend, actor Ramgen Bautista, was killed and she ended up in the hospital for a gunshot wound in the face, Janelle Manahan will take the witness stand.

Manahan is being called to testify in front of Parañaque Regional Trial Court Branch 274 Judge Fortunito Madrona who is hearing the murder case.

Last year, Bautista, the eldest son of former Sen. Ramon Revilla Sr. with Genelyn Magsaysay, was shot and stabbed dead by a masked assailant at the Bautistas’ house in BF Homes Subdivision, Parañaque City.

In Tuesday’s hearing, the prosecution asked Madrona to subpoena Manahan to testify in court on Oct. 9 in connection with a petition for bail filed by one of the suspects, Ramon Joseph, Bautista’s younger brother. Jaymee T. Gamil
