SHS-Adc 5 faces UV today
The defending champions Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu will try to keep its title-defense going but will be hard pressed to do so when it takes on the University of the Visayas in the semifinals in the Small Basketeers of the Philippines (SBP) division in the 2012 Milo-backed Best Twin Tournament today at the SHS-AdC basketball courts along Mango Avenue.
SHS-AdC finished the prelims with a 3-2 (win-loss) record and will be facing a UV squad that beat the Magis Eagles soundly in the aforementioned round.
The top-seeded and undefeated University of San Carlos faces off against the Cebu Eastern College in the other semis pairing.
In the semis of the D-League of the SBP class, USC/St. Arnold squares off against Don Bosco/Magone while USC North battles USC/St. Joseph.
The semifinals of the D-League-Passerelle division also commences with USC South taking on USC North B while USC North C meets up with UV-B. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
