30 CITE students get scholarship assistance
THIRTY students taking Electromechanics Technology program at the Center for Industrial Technology and Enterprise (CITE) will enjoy scholarship after the Visayan Electric Company (Veco) signed a scholarship agreement with the school last July 12.
The power company will shoulder 30 percent of the tuition of each scholar starting this school year.
The scholars were selected within Veco’s service area.
Veco executive vice president Jaime Jose Aboitiz signed the agreement with CITE executive director Engr. Ruben Laraya.
Veco has been a partner of CITE in providing opportunities to the less privileged youth from the Visayas and Mindanao.
