Healthy Homes win UABC title

/ 07:32 AM August 21, 2012

THE HEALTHY Homes claimed the championship in the 2012 United Architects Basketball Club Mini Cup after it routed the Konstrukt Permaplast, 77-59, in the finals last Sunday afternoon at the Cebu Eastern College gym.

The result was a surprising one considering that Healthy Homes had to scrap past Plexibond in the semifinals 72-71, in order to gain a berth in the championship game.

Healthy Homes leaned on the tournament-long brilliance of wingman Michael Cinco, who tallied 24 points in the finals. He was adjudged as the league MVP.
