RDC-7 launches relief drive for Luzon flood victims
CEBU City mayor Michael Rama convened the Regional Development Council Central Visayas to discuss with the members the relief operations for the victims of the massive Luzon floods.
Rama who is also RDC-7 chairman said he wants the RDC to serve as the focal point in the humanitarian relief efforts here.
The RDC-7 Task Force Tabang for Habagat victims is asking Cebuanos and other kindhearted individuals to donate the needed items of the thousands of evacuees in Luzon.
These include towels, blankets, biscuits, choco bars, tetrapak milk, bottled water, other rady to eat food items and used clothing.
Donations may be given to the drop-off centers at the DSWD-7 on M.J. Cuenco Avenue corner Gen. Maxilom extension, Cebu city, Cebu Provincial Capitol, all police stations in Central Visayas, Talisay City Hall, Lapu-Lapu City Hall and CCCI in North Reclamation Area (NRA).
