5.3-magnitude quake rattles Lubang, Occidental Mindoro
MANILA, Philippines—A 5.3-magnitude earthquake hit Lubang, Occidental Mindoro at 1:03 p.m. Tuesday at the height of torrential rains battering many parts of the country.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake was tectonic in origin and was plotted 13.86°N, 119.69°E – 048 km N 89° West of Lubang, Occidental Mindoro.
The temblor was also felt in Pasay City; Sampaloc, Manila; Clark, Pampanga and Olongapo City.

No damage to property was reported so far.
Phivolcs said aftershocks are expected.
