Mother needs help for 2-year-old Achilles
Achilles Corpuz is turning 2 on Aug. 2, yet he has hardly grown.
His mother, Marianne Javier, said doctors at the Philippine General Hospital told her that her son has to undergo a series of gastrointestinal tests to find out why he is underweight although he takes has a daily intake of formula milk.
Achilles also has difficulty breathing and turns blue whenever he cries, his mother added.
“He cannot say a single word, he cannot crawl, he does not play at all. I have to carry him whenever is asleep because if I put him down, three hours is the maximum number of hours he can sleep as he wakes up right away,” she said.
Javier is requesting for financial assistance from compassionate readers because the multiple congenital anomaly of her son has also affected his vision, and brain and bone development.
“I would like to bring him to a private hospital for close monitoring, so we would know what his real condition is, and if he needs an operation. Naaawa

Achilles father is a pedicab driver who hardly earns enough for the family’s needs.
