Suspect in dentist robbery, molestation capers nabbed in Laguna
MANILA, Philippines –A man suspected of robbing dentists after molesting them was arrested in his home on Tuesday, a Philippine National Police spokesman said.
Citing a report, PNP Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr. identified the suspect as Richard Gamboa, 42, resident of 14-3 Manfil, Canlubang, Laguna.
Cruz said a car-jacked 2008 Hyundai Tuscon, one 9mm calibre pistol and two fake PNP IDs were found in the suspect’s possession. He also had several motor vehicle registration plates, a PNP uniform, and replica of M16 rifle.
Cruz said Gamboa was also identified by one of his victims as the one who allegedly robbed and hogtied them last March in a series of dental clinic robberies.
Gamboa was jailed at the Binan Police Station. Charges are being readied against him, Cruz said.
