Cekalco fetes winners

THE Center Katipunan A. Lopez Christian Organization (CEKALCO) feted the top team and individual performers of its basketball tournament last Saturday night at the sitio A. Lopez open court in barangay Labangon, Cebu City.

Leading the awarding rites are the club’s top officials led by president Roland “El Presidente” Sameon, vice-president SPO4 Nelson Solana and Commissioner Michael Sameon.

The team awardees include 1st runner-up Delta Team with skipper Julius Gutierrez and the champion squad Echo Team led by Richie Villarosa, Danny Desoyo and Kenneth Beltran.

Richie Villarosa also bagged the coveted MVP award and made it to the Mythical Five selection along with Nelson Solana, Danny Desoyo, Kenneth Beltran and Julius Gutierrez.

Named Best Defensive Player was Donnie Panugaling while the Sportsmanship Award went to Manolet Tabasa.

The group will also hold a get together party on Sunday at the Talisay Beach Resort.
