No untoward incident on Jesús Nazareno feast so far – PNP
MANILA, Philippines — No untoward incidents were reported during the feast of Jesús Nazareno so far, said Philippine National Police spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo on Thursday.
“We have not monitored any untoward incident except cases of lightheadedness,” Fajardo told INQUIRER.net on the sidelines of the final Mass in Quirino Grandstand before the Traslacion procession.

Fajardo, however, said there were no exact figures of the devotees which needed first aid assistance.
Close to 3,500 police personnel are assigned to the Quirino Grandstand, which saw more than 50,000 devotees.
The image of the Jesús Nazareno was placed in the Quirino Grandstand on Monday for “pahalik.”

The Traslacion procession of Jesús Nazareno image from the Quirino Grandstand to Quiapo Church is expected to begin a few hours as of posting.
