Buy-bust op in Cebu City yields seizure of P7.48-M shabu seized

MANILA, Philippines — Police Regional Office 7 (Central Visayas) operatives and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized over P7 million in drugs and arrested one individual in Cebu on Monday evening.
In a report on Tuesday, PDEA said it arrested an individual in a buy-bust operation along Second Street in Happy Valley Subdivision in Barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City at 8:05 p.m. on November 25.

Authorities identified the suspect as Jason Bangueran, 46.
The PRO 7 Drug Enforcement Unit and PDEA recovered buy-busy money and eight packs of shabu (crystal meth), weighing 1.1 kilograms and worth P7,480,000.

The agency said cases for violating the Dangerous Drugs Act by possessing and selling crystal meth were being prepared against the suspect.
