Company manager shot dead in Isabela

DELFIN ALBANO, Isabela — A 49-year-old private company manager was shot and killed in San Juan village here by two unidentified motorcycle-riding gunmen on Friday afternoon.

Delfin Albano police said in a report Saturday, July 6, that victim Pablo Ubal Jr. was was sitting on the terrace of their house with his father around 4:35 p.m. when the suspects entered their yard to ask for directions to the town of Santo Tomas.

Suddenly, however, the assailants shot Ubal several times in different parts of his body and then fled.

Ubal died while being taken to a hospital.

An investigation has been launched on the incident.
