2 armed drug pushers busted in Rizal
LUCENA CITY — Police arrested two armed drug pushers in separate operations on Wednesday and Thursday, June 26 and 27, in Rizal province.
In a report, the Rizal police office said cops in Taytay town chanced upon a group of men at 1:20 a.m. Thursday while engaged in a “coin-toss” illegal gambling game in Barangay Sta. Juan.
When frisked, “Bal,” one of the three arrested gamblers, was found carrying an undocumented caliber .38 revolver loaded with six bullets and four sachets containing shabu (crystal meth) weighing 15 grams worth P102,000.
The suspect is classified as a “high-value individual” in the local drug trade, the report stated.
In another report, the Region 4A police said anti-narcotic operatives in Kalayaan town held “Arnel” at 10:30 p.m. after he sold shabu worth P500 to a poseur buyer in Barangay Longos.

The two drug suspects were detained and will face a complaint of violating the country’s anti-drug law and illegal possession of firearms.
