Tacloban graduate tops physical therapists board exam
MANILA, Philippines — An alumnus from Tacloban City topped the June 2024 Physical Therapists Board Examinations, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said.
According to the PRC on Monday, Michael Nivera of the Remedios T. Romualdez Medical Foundation was one of the 516 passers out of 811 takers in the exams.

Nivera scored a rating of 91.95 percent, followed by Bien Yamon, also from the Remedios T. Romualdez Medical Foundation, who scored 91.05 percent.
Meanwhile, Nicole Recaido from the University of the Philippines – Manila was at third with a 90.95 percent rating.

Romualdez Medical Foundation as the top-performing school in the batch with a 96.55 percentage passed, followed by the University of Santo Tomas at second with a 95.45 percentage passed, and the Our Lady of Fatima – Quezon City at third with an 85 percentage passed.

The licensure exams were held from June 5 to 6.
The PRC likewise said that the date and venue of the oath taking ceremony of the successful examinees will be announced at a later date.
