Tortured man on viral video in Pogo facility dies — PAOCC
MANILA, Philippines — The man who was seen in a viral video being tortured in a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (Pogo) facility has reportedly died, according to the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC)on Thursday.
In a video released by the PAOCC, a man can be seen shielding himself from being tortured by unknown assailants.

“Sa kasamaang palad kami po ay nakatanggap ng mga reports na yung lalaki na pinagbububugbog doon sa videos, na naging basis din po ng aming pagsagawa ng operasyon na ito ay namatay na po,” PAOCC spokesperson Winston John Casio said at the Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon public briefing.
(Unfortunately, we received reports that the man being beaten in the videos, which was the basis of the operations, has died.)
Article continues after this advertisementAuthorities raided a Pogo facility in Pampanga on Tuesday and apprehended at least 158 foreigners over alleged scam operations.

“So aming hinahanap ang kaniyang katawan pero kami rin po ay nakatanggap ng report na sa kasamaang palad na ang kanyang katawan ay krinemate,” said Casio.
