CSC to BCLTE takers: Check test rules, bring correct calculator
MANILA, Philippines — The Civil Service Commission (CSC) reminded takers of the Basic Competency on Local Treasury Examination (BCLTE) regarding test guidelines for June 2.
CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles said Thursday that those who will take the BCLTE should read their Online Notice of School Assignment (ONSA) to know the venue of their exam.
“As part of the exam preparations, please make sure to check the Online Notice of School Assignment (ONSA) to know your designated testing site. The CSC wishes you all the best as you take this crucial step to [become] members of the civil service as Local Treasurer and Assistant Local Treasurer,” he said in a statement.

According to the CSC, the ONSA contains the examinee’s guide which discusses the process before and during exam day.
Article continues after this advertisementIt added that those who do not know their school assignment a week before the examination day should inquire with their respective CSC regional or field office.

On the day of the BCLTE, aspirants should present a valid identification card and bring the prescribed calculators, the CSC noted. Examinees were also advised to wear proper attire and use a transparent bag.
It likewise said the gates of testing sites will open by 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 2, or as required by the respective offices concerned, and will be closed at 7:45 a.m.
