BOC-Port of Subic exceeds May collection target ahead of schedule
SUBIC BAY FREEPORT — Even before the month ends, the Bureau of Customs (BOC)-Port of Subic has already exceeded its collection target for May.
In a statement on Wednesday, the agency, led by lawyer Ricardo Morales II, said it had collected P4.171 billion in revenues, surpassing the monthly goal of P4.094 billion.
“This accomplishment represents a surplus of P77 million, or an increase of 1.88 percent over the target,” the BOC-Port of Subic said.
It added: “This success highlights the unwavering commitment and efficiency of the Port of Subic team in driving revenue collection and supporting national economic goals.
While there are still eight working days left this month, the agency vowed to continue to “strive for even greater achievements.”

“I am immensely proud of the Port of Subic team for their extraordinary efforts. Their dedication and professionalism are truly commendable. I look forward to more successes as we continue through the month,” he said. INQ
