Photos with Bamban mayor proves nothing, says Marcos

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Saturday said that his photos with embattled Bamban Mayor Alice Guo “proves nothing”.

Guo recently posted on Facebook photos of her and the President together after the latter claimed that no one knew who she was.

“That proves nothing,” said Marcos when asked in an ambush interview in Makati about the issue.

“You know many pictures I take during the campaign? About 1,000 a day. Everyone who asks for a selfie, I do not say no to them. So it doesn’t really mean anything,” said Marcos.

Marcos previously said that Guo must be investigated after concerns about her citizenship was raised.
