Kidnapped male Indonesian escapes from captors in Cavite
LUCENA CITY — A 28-year-old male Indonesian was found in Silang, Cavite on Monday, May 13, after he escaped from his kidnappers, police said.
The Region 4A police said in a report that village officials found Teddy Sufendy around 7:30 a.m. in front of an evangelical church in Barangay Malabag.
Citing information from Sufendy, the police said still unidentified persons kidnapped him on May 4 in Makati City.
Blindfolded and handcuffed, his kidnappers took him and held him captive somewhere in Tagaytay City. Sufendy said his captors also stripped him of his personal belongings, including identification cards and P5,000 cash.

Article continues after this advertisementHe escaped from his captors on Monday morning and walked for four hours until he was found in Malabag. The report did not give details on how he escaped.

The police are conducting further investigation.
