7,949 schools shift to alternative delivery modes due to heat

MANILA, Philippines — A total of  7,949 schools nationwide have implemented alternative delivery mode (ADM) classes, the Department of Education (DepEd) said on Friday.

ADM was implemented by the schools as a measure against the scorching heat felt in many locations throughout the country.

According to DepEd, most schools that implemented ADM are from Western Visayas, while only one school in Region 13 implemented ADM.
