Cable guy electrocuted in Danao

A 28-YEAR-OLD man was electrocuted while he was removing the cable wire of a house in barangay Guinsay, Danao City, northern Cebu, last Wednesday.

Ronald Roca, a part-time employee of Danao Cable, was brought to the Danao Provincial Hospital but he did not make it alive.

Police investigation revealed that the native of Poro, Camotes Island, climbed the roof of a one-story house to remove a cable wire past 4 p.m. when he slipped and touched a live wire.

Police said Roca was wearing rubber slippers.
