A woman filed a robbery complaint against her maid after she came home unexpectedly and found P1.2 million worth of her jewelry plus P6,000 in cash missing.

Alma de la Cruz, a result of Barangay Baesa in Quezon City, said that her maid, Lea de la Cerna, was about to leave the house when she came home around two hours earlier than her usual time.

When questioned, De la Cerna initially claimed that she was the victim of a gang of swindlers.
