Estrada ‘officially’ moves to Manila on Wednesday
MANILA, Philippines—An SMS media advisory from former President Joseph Estrada’s camp said he was set to “officially transfer residence” to Manila on Wednesday morning.
Estrada is to make the move from his home on his Polk Street, San Juan, to 589 Mangga Avenue in Altura, Sta. Mesa, at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, the advisory said.
Though the move is seen by many as an effort to comply with the one-year residency requirement for local electoral candidates, Estrada has yet to decide if he will run for mayor of Manila in 2013.
